Three Days of Contact Improvisation

We will start at the beginning—before time—observing accumulating masses, playing with gravity, light, presence, interaction, pressure, temperature, cause and effect. We will explore the paradoxes—the reality of the unified whole vs. the reality of the myriad many—the undeniable, qualitative, subjective reality vs. the verifiable, quantitative, objective reality. We will toy with the ubiquity, futility, and joy of thought, emotion, interpretation, comparison, and assessment. We’ll consider ethics, integrity, intimacy, safety, risk, trust, creativity, and anarchy. Toying with these tools and considerations in each reality, we will inquire into the mysteries of relationship, rapport, communication, and connection. Finally, we will touch, discover—even embody—infinite wisdom, experience, imagination, wonder, awe, improvisation, and the “zone.
